Grilled Shrimp

Grilling the shrimp will give them a wonderful smoky flavor and a slightly charred exterior, perfect for a summer meal or barbecue.

Grilled Shrimp with Garlic and Herbs

Ingredients:

12 large shrimp, shell on
3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika (or use sweet paprika for less smokiness)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
Fresh parsley, chopped
Green onions, thinly sliced for garnish
Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

Preheat your grill to high heat.
Rinse the shrimp and pat dry. Leave the shell on to protect the shrimp from direct heat.
In a bowl, mix the shrimp with garlic, olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Reduce grill heat to medium. Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are pink and slightly charred.
Once cooked, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the grilled shrimp.
Garnish with chopped parsley and green onions.
Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
